Stampin' Up! just announced their line of Alcohol Markers: Stampin' Blends! Demonstrators were available to purchase them in October and have not yet announced when they will be available to customers. Stay tuned on my Facebook page to hear the latest! Until then, I can tell you what I know:
The markers will come in 12 colors, plus ivory and bronze skin tones. Each color has 2 markers: a light and dark shade. Each marker is dual tipped with a fine tip and brush tip. They are sold individually or in combo packs of two. When using alcohol markers, you will want to use Memento ink to stamp the image in black on Whisper White cardstock. To the right is one of the four cards from the new Color Me Happy kit that we'll be making in the November Card Class. I used the Pink Pirouette and Pool Party colors on the birds. And when you go outside the lines, the Color Lifter pen works beautifully! |
Now, how am I storing them? For now, I am using the Stamp N Storage Marker Nook, which I already had, however they have come out with a new Marker Holder specifically for Blends. I have my Blends on top, my retired Stampin' Write markers below, then my Creative Memories pens, then my Sharpies and miscellaneous pens at the bottom. For the Blends, I cut 4 acetate boxes to fit inside my nook to provide "shelves" for each row of markers. Then, I have space to put the skin tones and Color Lifter over to the side. I can't promise I'll store these here long-term, but for now it works and I am excited to color! Want these markers now? Sign up to be a demonstrator by October 15th and get every marker, plus $3.50 of something out of the Clearance Rack -for $99 and free shipping! Hurry, it's a great deal! Call me and I can help! |
