When I saw the host set in the Occasions catalog, I had to have it! The set is called Love You Sew and is only available to people who host a Stampin' Up! workshop during January-May, 2016. For this first card, I stamped the scissors, spool, and paint brush off the edges of Crumb Cake cardstock. The sentiment was punched out using the 2 3/8 in Scallop Punch. And the card was finished using up some random embellishments I had laying around! |
The next card, we made last month at my Card Class. I am not a sewer, by any means, but I love the idea here. The hearts were stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock and then the stitch was stamped on afterwards. Next to the greeting, I made my own spool embellishment. I stamped the spool on cardstock, cut it out, and then wrapped it with some twine I had left over from the January 2015 Paper Pumpkin kit. |
This is such an easy card, but I love the greeting "Thanks a hole punch!" I just used a hole punch I had laying around, but Stampin' Up! has several options. I used Blackberry Bliss cardstock, and then added a strip of Bermuda Bay behind to match the ink. Simple and cute! |
Can't wait to make a few more fun cards with the rest of the stamps in this set! Want to get your own? Email me at [email protected] and we can find a date (your house or mine) between now and the end of May. Happy crafting! |
