Join us for a DIY class to make a 12x12 "sampler" which you can a display. I'll have all the supplies cut and ready for you to customize yours. Last month, we had the last VIP Class for the year (and I plan to take off a year while finishing up the high school position where I have been filling in). The technique was interactive cards, so we started with the Give it a Whirl dies and the Taco Fiesta stamp set. Then we added on magnets to the card using the Ladybug Builder punch. Lastly, we tried theater cards using the Enjoy the Rhythm stamp set. Click the picture of mine on the left to see my Reel! And click the video on the right to see how it was made!
 Who's ready for some new Designer Series Paper?

This month in VIP we worked with masking paper! This is a new product that you might have overlooked, but it basically replaces the sticky note! Below are the 3 cards we made, with videos for the 2 cards I CASEd. The first card I designed myself using retired Large Letter dies and the Biggest Wish stamp set. First, we started with Shimmery White cardstock (which is meant to get wet). Then, I added about 10 drops of reinkers in spritzers and filled with water to create a rainbow effect. Then, use a heat tool to dry before pulling off the masked letters. 
Next month will be the last VIP Card Class for the year, and I promise it's gonna be good! Then, I plan to take at least a year off from advanced technique classes in order to try something new! So keep an eye out for my monthly newsletter or Facebook page for information coming soon!  |
