Faux Metal Technique

Not only do I love journals, but I love typewriters!  When I saw the Tap Tap Tap stamp set, I knew it would be cute on cards, but it is even cuter on a journal.  We'll be making this journal at the upcoming 3D Gifts class.  I found a video where Stampin' Up! demonstrates the rusty faux metal technique.  Check out the video below to see heat embossing in action and how to create this vintage look.  Would you have ever guessed the embossing powder colors used on the typewriter?
