Welcome to the Stampin Friends Christmas Hop!
If you just arrived from Deana’s blog, thank you for continuing with the hop!
This month we are excited to have three awesome Guest Hoppers to check out:
Maria Willis, Twila Davis, Barbara Welch

I think Christmas is my favorite holiday, mainly because it celebrates the birth of my Savior (oh, and because I love sending cards!).  I was so excited to use my new products from the pre-order for the Occasions Catalog (starting January 5), that I tried to tweak the Botanical Gardens suite into a Christmas card.  Originally, this set (pictured right) coordinates with Basic Black, Cajun Craze, Mint Macaron, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, and Whisper White.  But I just went for the traditional Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Whisper White and Delightful Dijon to make it look more Christmas-y, paired with the Wondrous Wreath stamp set (below).

And while I am excited for the new Occasions Catalog to kick-off, I am sad to see the current Holiday Catalog retire. (only a few more days to get products before they are gone!)  Thankfully, some of my favorite bundles (like Peaceful Pines and Snow Place) are staying around longer.
Anyhow, last month, the Creative Crafting group at my church made our versions of the wooden tree display seen on the cover of the Holiday Catalog (pictured right).

My friend's husband cut the wood for all of us and she gathered a bunch of supplies for us to to decorate the tree.  I used some current and some retired products to decorate mine and added five clothespins, perfect to display cards for my upcoming class, or to use as a display at my craft fair booths, or just to showcase favorite cards we receive from family and friends (thanks, Carol and Tricia!).

I hope you enjoyed my projects!  Merry Christmas!

Thanks! Love to CASE anything SU does! I am using this tree for handmade cards and the rest I store on a binder ring decorated with ribbon and a tag that indicates the year.
